Apologies if this is a repost but from a recent walking adventure found this little gem:

From the A66 down to Reeth; Stang Lane to Stang Top. Great road!

Did you go left to the CB or right to Tan Hill at the end? I usually go left to Reeth and then west out of Reeth to the buttertubs...
They're amongst the best driving roads in England imo.

Carried on towards Reeth and then on towards Kettlewell. I was headed for home (Halifax) so opted for the scenic route as opposed to the ever-dull A1. Glad I did as well. I'm from North Wales originally so was great discovering these new-to-me local routes!
