M25 Northern Section M11 to A1 Cameras

Evening

Driving round here today I noticed a load of the lanky yellow specs cameras going up on this stretch, does anyone know if this is in advance of some roadworks, or another variable speed limit zone?

I travel round here all the time, so I hope it's an admin error and they will all be gone tomorrow.....

Widening of the M25 to 4 lanes each side, the last bit to be done.

Starts Spring 2013 , finishes 2015!!!

noticed it at the start of the week, more fun and games, aswell as the clackett lane stretch thats being done at the mo.

Since they've started the widening work the A1M/M25 South Mimms roundabout has been grid locked at rush hour both in the morning and evening. Usually takes betwenen 20-30 minutes in the evening to get off the M25 anticlockwise to getting on the A1M northbound arriageway. Looks like Im going to have to find a different route.

Hopeless now. 2 years of this to look forward to. Grrr.

Queue southbound this morning nearly back to the Hatfield Tunnel. Ridiculous.
