We're planning a road trip to the Alps in late June, and having never done this would appreciate some recommendations on hotels, preferably with decent parking.
Looking at Dijon, Annecy, Andermatt, and anywhere around those areas, aiming at 5/6 day trip.
Thanks.

The only hotels that we stayed in within the Alps were the two below

Göschenen (A few miles from Andermatt) - Chalet Hotel Krone - Not the most modern or best decorated hotel, but the couple who run it were really nice people and offered great advice about the surrounding area.

Davos - Hotel Edelweiss - Very nice modern hotel, very well decorated, they even gave us a free upgrade biggrin But we were not too keen on Davos as a town, very quite outside of the ski season.

If you're in France and you're on a budget you can't really go wrong with Ibis. Not by any means the best hotels in the world, but for €40 a night you can't really sleep for less. We stayed in them in Antibes and Annecy last year. Most have free parking too.

In Switzerland it's much harder to find cheaper rooms. I found ours on booking.com

If you find yourself in north west Italy, I can thoroughly recommend Cascina Moncrava as a very cost effective b&b with plenty of secure parking. See:

Depends on the day. Rates are now quoted between £48 and £98 per night. Seems like weekends are cheap. Hotel looks good right in town centre.
