Driving a UK hire van to Andorra

In April I'm planning to help a friend move belongings back to the UK from Andorra.

Does anyone on here have experience of hiring a vehicle for use in Andorra (which doesn't count as a European country for the purposes of car hire, I believe)?

Or experience of dealing with customs duty on returning to the UK with personal possessions?

Not any experience like that - but I have seen the border with France a few times while passing through and they are thorough with their checks for excess duty free. Be careful!
