International Road Trip apps

Just a quickie. Finished a 6500 mile 14 day charity motorbike trip from London around the Black Sea and back. Looked for ages for GPS and found an app for the iphone called Skobbler Satnav2. Purchased access to the whole world's maps for under £10! Excellent app and got us through parts of Russia, Georgia and North Turkey where mapping was very poor. I use it all the time in UK too - way cheaper than the usual suspects and free lifetime updates. Thought it may help some for planning 2013 roadtrips - car or 'bike.

I use copilot on my phone. Costs a bit more than that but I can modify routes to take me along the roads I want to go on. Great bit of kit

I just did a search on my IPad for the Skobbler Satnav2 and no luck. Is it not available for the IPad?

I think it's called 'GPS Navigation 2' and the developer is Skobbler.
