What are they doing on the M25?

Between Junction 6-5?

I travel this route twice a day and they have put 50mph average speed cameras and cut off some of the lanes. I have NEVER seen a single person working on any stretch of it. This section also never has traffic or tailbacks so why are they changing it??

They say work will be going on till Aug 2014!!!

I've no idea, but I wish they would do something about the awful concrete sections just west of this

Making it four lanes using the hard shoulder as a lane with recovery points dotted along it!

Do you ever use this piece of motorway????

Try going clockwise between 7am and 10am or anticlock between 4:30 and 7:30......

getting it all set up i'd guess for when the roadworks start fully.
i've seen them working there alot at night, mainly 12-4am

New concrete central reservation to reduce the chance of "crossover" accidents and then opening the hard shoulder to traffic for the M23 once that's done. Roadworks until December 2014. Hurrah!

I do anti clockwise between 7 and 10 and clockwise between 4.30 and 6.30, mon fri for the last 14 months. Never had a problem.
