BP Fuel Northern M6 & A74(M) - super unleaded.
Discussion
A few days ago finishing a tour to England and back to Scotland for the October hol's I stopped at Burton services to refuel on Super unleaded.
There was none at the BP service station and infact of about 5 rows of pumps only 1 row was functional at all.
I then continued on to Annandale (again BP) where again there was no Super Unleaded fuel. The smiling fool of a manager said that "oh we've had that on order for several days now...".
How come service stations can not have this fuel when there isn't a shortage and wouldn't it be helpful if they changed the motorway signs to indicate this shortage so you didn't stop?
Next Shell had plenty of V-Power.
Sorry - venting!

Burton is always like that with pumps out of service. There was none at the BP service station and infact of about 5 rows of pumps only 1 row was functional at all.

You do know that there is a BP at Southwaite services (and a *much less pricey* Shell at Todhills rest area) though don't you?
My local 99 supplier has had the pumps tagged up for 4 months now. Means a further 10 miles each way just for fuel. I did contact the superstore HQ and they told me that there was fuel there but there was an issue with the pump that would be rectified within a week. 3 months later they are still not working.............
