Super Unleaded in Highlands

Sorry if this has been done to death, but filling stations open & (mainly) close with some regularity, so I was after the latest info...

A couple of years ago there was a largeish filling station (BP I think) selling Super Unleaded quite near the bridge on the Isle of Skye - but the BP website doesn't show any sign of it still being open - anybody shed any light on whether you can still get super unleaded on Skye?

Also - If I want to do a loop from Inverness, up through Bonar Bridge, Lairg, Tongue, Ullapool and back to Skye - does anybody know if I can get super unleaded anywhere en route?

Yes - the Kyle of Lochalsh petrol station does have Super (97 perhaps) as of mid June. However I did notice that some Highlands petrol stations did not have supplies of every advertised fuel - diesel seemed to be particularly at risk.

No need to wait until Kyle of Lochalsh. 97RON at Lochbroom filling station in Ullapool.

I've just been round the north of Scotland and can confirm that, beyond Inverness, there is Super Unleaded in:

Tain - Tesco
Ullapool - Gleaner
Kyle of Lochalsh - Gleaner
Fort William - Gleaner/BP

Simplest way of finding whether station in area has it is to log onto petrolprices.com and look for the town/postcode . Add in the type of fuel and you'll get the station too.

It's not always 100% accurate, sadly.

It says that there is no Super Unleaded in Ullapool, when I paid 149.9p for 53.60 litres of the stuff a week ago today.

Note that it quite happily identifies the filling station I used as selling 95RON.
