How early on a weekday morning do I need to be to avoid congestion heading through Dartford tunnel? [sensible times please ]

It is completely pot luck.

I sometimes go northbound at 8 -8.30am and can have little or no queueing.

One minor incident and you can waste an hour or more.

What time do you have to be somewhere ?
