Silverstone May 5th?

Just got some tickets for Silverstone on Sunday May 5th. The Pistonheads calendar shows the Tuscans racing on this day but Octagon's web site doesn't mention them in the race programme notes - says GT's but not Tuscans? Anyone confirm they are racing? Rich...

If I remember right this is the meeting they and the Caterham Superlights got bumped from because Octagon had tried to jam too many races in, so sadly no. The Caterhams got offered a race somewhere else (can't remember, but it's in PH news somewhere) but I haven't heard whether the Tuscans have managed to organise a replacement round. Not easy at this stage, I would think.

The Tuscans are at Donington on Sunday, though...

Spot on. Not heard anything about Tuscans finding an alternative venue that weekend. I've removed it from the calendar to save further confusion.

Ah well still going along seeing as I have some tickets, just means it's more important for a TVR to do well in the GT's

Yes, the ideal would be Speed 12 first in GT, with the TuscanR's one and two in GTO, but there's some fast competition out there...

Yep. That Saleen thing was A-mazing at Brands. Made everyone else look like they weren't trying...including the damn Lister! Wow....

It walked it during testing yesterday too and the Speed 12 wasn't having a great time.

what sort of idiot bumps tuscans from a racing schedule, its one of the best series in the country. Certainly one of the liveliest.
