GT & TUSCAN TV SCHEDULE

Has anyone got any ideas of where to find this years TV Schedule on ford GT and Tuscan Racing??
As the powertour site does not exist!

We should have news of that soon. It's likely to be a week/fortnight after each race and I think it will be Saturday mornings again but not sure about that. Channel 4 are definitely broadcasting it though.

Not sure where the Tuscans are being televised yet. I'll try to find out.

Yup, we'll be there - inky blue Chimaera 4.5. A few of us are meeting up first at Clackett Lane services at about 9am. We went today as well, parked up at the top beside Druids. Quite quiet today, not many TVRs around either though we spotted Christof (car up for sale), Greg Cook...

Steve, I think that must be last year's calendar as the dates don't correspond. GTs are also going to be in a separate program this year.

Hmm just gotta wait and see if they bother to update it.. I did not notice the race dates ..

Bit annoyed that the Garage i am buying my Tiv from have sent the car back for a Engine rebuild..

They said they wanted the engine rebuild to be sure that the car was going to be fault free for the next year as it was miss firing. but gotta wait till May to get it now....

Had a look at 'Whats on SKY Sports 2002' on their website and it made no mention of the TVR's being televised, are you sure that it is going to be televised by anyone this year?

Yep. I asked TVR about it yesterday because I'd not heard where it was going to be televised. I'll be following up shortly to get the schedule.

TV yes ,I was at Castle combe on Easter Monday with the TVR Tuscans there was a TV camera system fitted to Jay Sheperds car which came in third place in both races

right, just to clarify the chances of TVR Tuscan racing being on terrestial TV are about nil.

I remember that it was on TV last year. It was quite entertaining.
I don't have sky.

Would like to know for sure with regards TV.

As for TV cameras on the cars, a few drivers have had cameras fitted to their cars over the years, normally their own piece of kit. Happy to be wrong though. Maybe they should also go for behind the wheel shots looking back at the driver, as per the F1 coverage on Sunday.


Having said that if their were cameras trackside on Monday it may at least confirm that someone was filming for the near future.

Correct. TVR deemed that they could capture a large proportion of their target audience on Sky these days. I think it will be a regular, early evening slot.

I could not go fiancees orders, nearly 9 months pregnant and didnt want the excitement.
