Did Bernie (the dwarf) Eccelstone think that he would be with his model wife forever? did he really think his money would keep her in his bed until he died of old age?

king and old man? No amount of money can stop the stomach from churning at the idea of sleeping with a 72 year old man when you're in your 40's yourself
It was never going to last forever for him, he must have known at some point she'd want to getting a length from a man nearer to her own age? Are rich old men seriously under the impression the age doesn't matter when they're in their 70's and their cheque book sg is still young enough to get somebody who isn't old, short and ugly?

It not just the money. Men who earn big money are often living very interesting lives and are very intelligent in their own right, which the opposite sex find attractive. I believe women also find power very attractive too. Issues of height or physical attractiveness fall some way further down the check list.
the fact is.... he's now an old man, she's still a relatively young and attractive woman, how many young and attractive women want to have regular sex with 72 year old men? he must have known that at some point the age gap was going to mean his wife would be walking and getting a length from somebody who's still physically attractive, unlike him at 72
