Does anyone know of any celebrity BTCC fans?

Her brother is Paul O'Neill who drove for Vauxhall a few years ago.

When he was in the production class his yellow Peugeot 306 carried Northern Star on the side - the name of his sisters solo album.

Various other celbs have turned up in the hospitality suites of the manufacturers over the years.

Were discussing all the A-listers who turn up on the grid for F1 races and just got on to the BTCC and none of us could think of any off the top of our heads. Just a wondering more than anything, couldn't find anything through googling either so thought I'd dip into the PH knowledge pool!

Celebs get onto F1 grids because they get the invites....

Maybe if the BTCC chappies invited a few, they'd turn up. Anything free with champagne attached and they'll be there like a shot, especially if it's televised.

Bumped into shane lynch at oulton pk event a few years ago in the paddock, seriously nice guy, couldnt do enough for us, signed autographs & showed us around his tenty thing & trailer. Even let us stand next to his car & have us pictures tooken. Top guy. Mind you, having said that Johnny herbert was the same at Le mans in 07.

Think he's into drifting these days. I recall he turned out pretty capable in GTs, hats off to him.

As for Mike Brewer - the question was about celebrities. That man has no place on TV, he's bloody shocking.

Doesn't matter. I think he's a legend because he gave me some crisps at the Classic Motor Show, then Edd China gave me a Yorkie!

My Brother loves the show if that is of any comfort to you!

The bloke who played Len in Emmerdale was hanging around with Martyn Bell's crew at Croft last year. Not sure he counts as a celebrity though.
