Race Tracks near Marbella?

A friend of min ementioend last year that a new track was being built heading west out of Marbella, maybe 10 - 15 minutes drive. Does anyone know anything about it? A website maybe?

You don't mean the Ascari circuit do you - it's about 40km north-west of Marbella in Ronda.

Otherwise nearest thing I can think of is up at Jerez.

Portimao opens this weekend for WSBK, but that's Western Algarve - perhaps he's just mistaken.

Ascari is nearby, but private.

And I have vague recollections of an "investment opportunity" near Fuengirola, but i recall it as beeing closer to a go-kart track.

Guadix is a bit further away,North East from Marbella, the other side of Granada towards Baza. Think it's mainly used for testing.

Never heard of it and I live in Marbella!

The only "track" thats about 10-15min from Marbella is a horseracing track in Mijas Costa

Guadix isn't just used for testing as we run trackdays there too

LOL, that's more like 10-11 hours drive from Marbella, not 10 minutes!
