Hot from the Hotel car park

Afternoon folks,
I've arranged the the end of season meal to be at the Daresbury Park hotel, near Warrington; the same venue as in 2006. The evening will follow on from the Oulton round on October 11th and consist of drinks, three course set menu dinner, awards and further drinks. The hotel has plenty of secure parking and is right next to the M56, approx 13 miles from Oulton.
I have provisionally booked for 40people, with a maximum capacity of 80, I've also blocked an allocation of 20 double , 5 twin and 2 family rooms.
The cost of the meal is £28 per person and should be booked direct with the Daresbury Park hotel, along with the room. The contact details are Emily O'Hara, Daresbury Park, Daresbury, Warrington, Cheshire, WA4 4BB Telephone: 01925 267 331

For those not on the mailing list JR sent me or those who've email adresses have bounced back; there has been a minor cock up in communication between myself and the hotel. Unlike in 2006 the hotel are wanting me to be the sole point of contact for the booking of the meal. As such I need a cheque for £28 per person made payable to De Vere Hotels, sent to my home address. The booking of the rooms is still done directly with DE Vere which can be done through their website or the hotel direct in Warrington.
I don't particularly want my home address online here, so PM me for my address. Apologies for the mess I've created.

Sorry but can't make the evening do either, as I also have committments early on Sunday morning. However I don't have to leave straight after the racing so if we are to have a meeting I would prefer something like a 3pm start at Oulton.
I would like to be there as it seems the only things on the agenda are lowering the power of class B which I don't seem to be able to reach for some reason and don't agree with anyway, and removing aero above the wheel centre line which I do have in the form of a Halfords beer shelf but I am of the opinion that aero should be all or nothing. No cherry-picking for individual benefit.
So that's that then. No need for me to turn up.

Not sure if I can make it as I can't really afford it. Hotel want £90 for their cheapest room, then £30 for the meal, go karting and fuel. I'd end up paying something like £200 for the weekend plus drinks. I might just pitch my tent in the car park and bring a pot noodle and some white lightning

Nick, Green Star Racing will pick up your meal tab, its the least we can do for you as you have put many unpaid hours in with the data loggers this year. Perhaps other on PH might help you out too?. John, Co/ Mick G Star
