Morgan Crashes out at Spa

Punted off by a Porsche in heavy rain

They were in the pit garage right next to the Rollcentre team. We've seen on telly that the car was standing on the left handside of the track about 200 meters from the bridge.

great shame, but i never expected the morgan to get past the 6 hour mark.

But may i say what an amazing job Roos optima racing did, they had so many problems, Peter Snowdon crashed it, the mechanics worked flat out to fix it, then there were braking problems and a wheel came off but they were determind to finish, they did, the car was basically made of duck tape at the end! Top job by the small but lovely private team.

Oh yes, the car was heavily taped at the front. Great job that they still finished. I'll source out some pictures and send them to you if you like.

And they had a small pit fire with about 90 mins to go!

I love that team, they are such a great bunch of people, they looked after us at donnington and chatted with us e.t.c, no other teams would do that. Graham, id love it if you could send me some pics if you have any. Didnt realise they had a pit fire! Sounds like that car went through the wars in the 24hours, they are a determind bunch who nver give up, top team.
