Mosley says British GP solution close
Discussion
Following on from Bernie's Formula One management meeting with the BRDC (Silverstone's landlords) Max Mosley has stated that there is only one issue holding up the whole Silverstone GP furure debate.
If the BRDC lower the rent of the circuit for the GP weekend Bernie and Octagon (who have the contract for the GP) would finance the necessary building work.
The BRDC charge £5million for the GP weekend alone, rather a lot for something they were given for free in the first place.

How much is it to maintain a track like Silverstone per year, and to meet F1's requirements?
Don't know, I was quoting what Max said. So he must have a point
