Bochout back! AND at Labre!
Discussion
Hi, Today im a very happy boy! Ive just read on fiagt.com that christophe has gone back to larbre competition for spa! Its brilliant news, well at least for me, i love larbre and bochout, i was gutted when 1. Larbre pulled out of the FIA GT's but even more gutted when 2. Bochout walked out on the team.
In the article the creation autosportif boss said basically bochout was really gaging to get back to larbre and drive the awesome 2003 SPEC (not 2003 shape!) viper. Best of luck to him, i really hope larbre can return to there FIA GT winning form! Also good luck to the lovely people at Roos Optima racing.
btw! If that annoying eurosport comentator (who knows nothing about the teams/cars/drivers) (not david leslie!) calls bochout 'captain Grumpy' i wont be happy

Hey, if you're referring to Martin Haven, he really does know his stuff! The bloke's been around for years and is very knowledgable and enthusiastic. You might be talking about someone else, but Martin is a great credit to Eurosport.
It's true, Bouchut is grumpy and never happy - and I speak as one who's a fan of his driving abilities. I remember him (I'm sure it was him and not Boullion) in a Kremer 911 GT1 at Donington in '97, sideways out of the Old Hairpin lap after lap until his tyres were shot. Very impressive, but a miserable bugger nontheless.

yes, bochout may not be the happiest of people but theres no need, everytime, to call him captain grumpy, i just think its disrespectful. Also! he refered to him as 'some oik in a viper' which i also think is VERY disrespectful. I dont know which eurosport presenter it is but he makes many mistakes about cars/teams/drivers.

I remember that as well. What a race that was. I was only 13 at the time. Always remember Bernd Schneider coming down Craner Curves with the car bouncing and sparking. GT1 cars, they were proper racing cars
In actual fact the 911 GT1 couldn't get near the CLK, or indeed the longtail McLaren F1 GTR. It was more a case of Merc V McLaren, which was a bit odd since they were partners in F1 then, and still are. It was fantastic racing though. I wish I'd been able to see the Jaguar vs. Porsche Group C battles, but again I was too young. Least I get to see them at Donington this weekend (thanks for the tickets Graham!)
you mean the DTM at donnington? Im going and will be cheering on Alesi and Schneider and DEFO DUMBRECK! Looking forward to a great weekend, but also im going to try and keep updated on the spa 24h hours, i think i can get crash.net on the internet on my phone so hopefully i can get updated.

What about Gary Paffett?
