what a
Says in the paper today he is talking to DC about what DC should do next year, Who does he think he is giving his opinions of what drivers should do?! Ecclestone has already ruined the sport for his own financial gain and now hes giving his opinions as to what the drivers should be doing with their lives. The sport is ruined, i hate him, he is rotten to the core.
why doesnt he just off?!
rant over!

Someone i know worked for him around 30 years ago when he was the owner of an F1 team and he said he was quite simply the most ####,########,#### of person he'd had the misfortune of working for....but for all i know he was talking about Bernies dress sence

We`ll stick to the bike racing - if my memory serves me right, I`m sure Bernie tried to get his hands on the bike GPs in the 70s or 80s

'Ere! Don't slag Mr Ecclestone off until you've read the unauthorised biography (Bernie's Game, by Terry Lovett).
Then you'll really have some evidence of what a tricky bugger he is...

Also notice how since Minardi has become Ecclestone-Minardi, Mr Stoddard has quietly withdrawn all his complaints about traction control. "You withdraw the complaints or i withdraw the money" maybe.

And on top of that, he's got one of the unused hairstyles that Elton John rejected.

So what would you do? Fold Minardi? Think I'd rather see them survive personally...

Anyway, Bernie didn't ruin F1 - Renault did that when they brought in the turbo and electronics...

I will bet you a pint it's not that simple. For starters, Bernie has gained:
- Access to the GPWC offer to the teams (for the breakaway series) and can tailor his counter offer down to the last pound.
- A veto on any technical changes. It is quite possible that he was the driving force behind the Minardi threat to disrupt the British Grand Prix (even if it was only to fire a warning shot across the bows of the big teams). Surprise, surprise, it seems that some resolution has been agreed with the Fighting Fund (which will have cost Ron Dennis at least half a million)
- He can sell his stake to a manufacturer (VAG?) at any stage, and you know he will make a profit from that.

Just read the chapter on Nicola Foulston. It seems she screwed us all. We are now all paying for her greed. She should be convicted of fraud along with Ecclescakes! Motorsports need a clean break from this sleaze!

Absolutely. She appears to be the only person to have got one over on him. Apparently, even the people who mugged his wife were 'dealt with'. Within 24 hours, he had told the police who did it.

Personally, I think in the past he's done a lot for the sport, on the promotion side etc :donsflameproofsuit: But he's going too far. He thinks that just because he says something, people will fall at his feet and do it. Personally I think Mr. Mosley should tell the jumped up little prick where to get off

Except, of course, that Mr Mosley can't tell Bernie where to get off, because if he did he'd take his commercial and tv rights away and F1 would be shafted! Period!

Besides, he'll be running CART by the end of the month and maybe he'll spend more time on that and leave everyone else to enjoy F1.
