It should be a good event for TVR
I'm piloting one of the DeWalt T400R Le Mans cars up the hill and Michael Caine is driving a T400R road car.
Rob, I will be by in the "Pheasant Pen" stand just after the bridge on Sunday.....Please can you fix it for me to have a spectacular TVR burn out show!!!!!!

Sod that, any chance of a "lift" up the hill?!?
Last year one of the F1 cars, I think it was Montoya in the Williams or it could have been Badoa(sp?) in the Fezza , had one of the slowest times on the Saturday as he was stopping every 50 yards to do burn outs and the odd donut .
Highly recommended no one really cares about the time up the hill, its the entertainment on the way that pleases the crowds .
Out of interest are TVR going to have more than a couple of dozen T shirts on sale for the buying public unlike Le Mans .

Yep, it was Montoya
He walked out the F1 paddock, had a look at the track near the exit, went back to his car, started up then came out and did a HUGE donut right infront of the grandstands
All this AND Jodie Kidd in her Maserati Spyder!
It looks a great line up this year - will be my sixth visit (am going on Sunday) - really looking forward to the supercar run and the pre-war Mercedes Grand Prix car (Surtees at the wheel again) not to mention the headcase in the dragster "wheelie" car!

A question for all you regulars.
I have been going to GFOS since the very sad incident with the marshall being killed a few years ago.
Was the viewing better before this? For a hillclimb I think the actual view you get of the track is pretty poor. The hay bales are too high and if you are not near the front you dont really see much. Am I just looking in the wrong places or would you agree?
