Just to let those of you that have previously asked... we've now finished the 2 seater... yippee!!.

It had it's first test day yesterday at Snetterton and apart from needing a new clutch (fitted on the day) is ready for some serious track time.

It should be down at Castle Combe for the TVR Car Club day. There may be a possibility of some passenger rides in it (for a nominal fee) with me driving, if you fancy the experience of racing speeds in the beast.

Anyone wanting to come away from the day with a huge smile on their face.. and lots of flies in the teeth, just e-mail me at 2seater@insaneracing.co.uk

In addition, I'm now in the process of building a 2 seater road legal version of the Tuscan, for sale. It's going to be the Mutts Nuts.. newly powder-coated chasis, brand new body, mega wheels and paint job, twin roll-over hoops, AJP 4.5, blah blah. If anyone wants first blag on it then first come first serve. If someone wants to get in early, they can decide on wheel types, colour, carpets etc.

If you are (seriously) interested then e-mail me on megacar@insaneracing.co.uk

C U all at the club day in 2 weeks.

Wayne the new 2 seater wouldn't be Andy and Gary's aborted project from last year would it !! Any chance of posting a few pics so we can all get a look at it?

Hi Ya,

Yep the 2 seater is the part built one from the Britnells. I'm getting it sorted to be the ultimate road car... carpets an' all :-)

Reckon it'll take a month or two to complete as we want everything to be right.

------------------

Fun rides in the existing 2-seater Steve's just finished will be at the TVRCC day on Friday 20th at Castle Combe hopefully. Just seeing if we can get it OK'd. Price to be confirmed... but not a lot for the grin factor :-)

You gonna be there Ed?

Wayne, check out the noise level for the tvr day on the 20th, as I think it's 99/100 max, you may have to stuff a few more old socks up the pipe to get it down to this level!!!!

cheers mate.

You might be able to blag your way into the paddock on Friday night, it depends on the security man you meet on the way.

If not you won't need to park very far away - with the TVRCC trackday, BBQ, camping and general festivities happening, there will be parking arranged anyway.

Andy

edited to say: I meant blag your way in with a car. Walking in is obviously no problem!!

Thanks James, I'm really pleased with the way the car is looking. Nearly there now - and it looks like we'll find out how it goes at Oulton. Or should that be how I go?!

Six Tuscans in the Insane Racing awning this weekend - we trumped everyone including the factory!

Absolutely shattered this morning, mainly thanks to the 3.30am finish beer session on Sat night/Sunday morning!!! Actually I think we trumped everyone in the paddock on that one too!

Just finished building my Scooter (bought from Darren Dowling). Orders can be placed with No5 at Pistonfest; see Peter Wheeler has bought the delux model.
