Fred Goddard from Silverstone was killed on Friday in a car crash in the USA.
A great guy and a great loss, thoughts are with Earl, his son and family.

That's a real shame. I remember Fred Goddard's team always being a stalwart of Class B F3, often winning the championship. They were also pretty hot with their EuroBOSS cars too, weren't they? His son, Earl, held a lot of overall circuit lap records for a while IIRC.
