Is it true that the Moslers use a composite tub?

difficult answer.

If you mean are they like the Pagani/Enzo - then no, but there are elements of carbon in there.

Actually a very simple car (amazingly so, but then racers are quite simple people ).

If you look at the webcams in www.mt900.com and view the raceshop (I think) there's one in construction there.

Looking fwd to a road version coming over this summer (pls in time for LeMans !!!) - then you can see properly.

The tub is made from folded honeycombe, with a carbon outer layer. Its formed from a flat honeycombe sheet, which is routed and folded and glued to form a box like shape.

It is incredibly strong, stiff, light, and relatively cheap to make.

I take that back, they're not simple. They have this inate ability to write a sentance and for me to not understand it even after reading it 3 times.

....back to the website. Pictures are worth a 1,000 words.

....and congratulations Mr Short. After incorporating some of your developments the factory Mosler's just finished 3rd overall top of GTS in the Alabama Grand-Am race.
