Just about to fit one of the sbove, came with a really useless wiring diagram. Can anyone tell me what to do with the resistor (apart from the obvious) and what in fact it does?

It's pretty simple, but I can't remember off the top of my head!
I'll try and look at it on my Westfield tomorrow night and let you know!
The wiring diagram should tell you, but I think it provides a small load for the alternator so the alt doesn't suddenly go from full load to open circuit - I understand they don't like this. But if the wiring diag says differently, obviously go with that!
