Since I think I introduced a few people here to the Group C historic series, I thought I'd tell you about EuroBOSS. It's open to any single seater built before 1998, and is full of F1, F3000 and Indycars. Its fantasitc. Have a look at www.ndseuroboss.com

I saw this at Silverstone last year as a support race to the BTCC - What a noise - absolutely amazing!!!

Was better to watch than the BTCC and probably my only chance until I get some more money to see/hear formula 1 cars in action.

Highly recommended viewing.

They're at Silverstone again on Easter Monday. It's well worth going to Donington to see an F1 car through Craner Curves. Never seen something change direction so fast in my life

Seen them a few times now - great stuff. Remember the first time I saw them, had got to Brands fairly early, was sat near the startline with a cup of tea. Heard a couple of the cars start up (loud!) and warm up. Pulled onto the track, made it round, then came screaming down the straight at full chat. It was so loud I dropped my tea Earplugs recommended, especially if you want to use a camera instead of having your hands over your ears..

There's a guy with a couple of early 90s Ferraris - absolute spine-tingling noise. Sod paying £150+ for F1 tickets, this is a tenner, you get all the noise and speed but more overtaking

How can you wear earplugs!? getting deaf and listening to the cars is one of my favourite things! If you think EuroBOSS are loud, you've never heard a Panoz. I can still remember the grandstand shaking at Silverstone in 1997 when the black DAMS car went past

Just back from Brands...
It is a pity to the two main protagonists took themselves off at Druids after a brilliant bit of overtaking coming into Paddock. With the demise of these 2 the lap record was retained by the Champ cars though the EuroBoss guys were getting pretty close and there was still half the race to go.
Thought I saw another PH'er there...a Griff owner from the Bromley area who was on the Kingston/Hayling dawn run

Hi ya!! That may have been me (TVR cap and a pony tail) and my wife. RZD (Les) was there with his son as well.

As for the racing... what an excelent day! Plenty of action, good atmosphere and lots to look at off the track as well.

Those concourse cars are just something else, I polish my car... but these guys... they must spend there entire life with a polishing cloth in there hand. Did chuckle though when it started raining
