On behalf of Bert and the rest of the team at CDL I would just like to offer our sincerest thanks to all those that made it possible for us to race yesterday.

As you may be aware the car suffered severe damage to key components during the free test on Saturday. Without the help and support of too many people to list individually on here we may not have made it to the race yesterday.

Special mention should be made to the BRDC GT/F3 event team for their help. A HUUUGEE thank you to James Lister & Sons without who our initial GT meeting would have ended on Saturday.

Many Thanks to you all!

A fantastic performance from the CDL team - excellent to watch from the grandstand ! Several referances to a certain Beach Boys song in the pit lane following the propshaft repairs.... Gareth & Steve must have had blurred vision at times. Looking forward to some fantastic racing at Snetterton (no pressure !). Thanks for the entertainment.

Yes...I would like to ditto that.

The Mid Essex Region of the TVR Car Club were there along with so many other TVR's from other regions.

It was a great atmosphere with very good racing and it was a pleasure to see the change from Bert's looks of concern on Saturday to wreaths of smiles on Sunday after a 1st and 2nd with the Tuscan Challenge and a brilliant 4th, given the circumstances, with the G.T.

Well done to all the drivers and team....a fantastic result.

Snetterton....here we come.

I've not taken a group there before.
Could anyone advise the best place to stand and watch the action?

Near the bridge is good as you can see them fighting for position at the end of the back straight and then follow them around back to the start.

Thanks for that P.T.

I think that Mason, Caroline and Hay will be 'fighting for position' again judging by the standards at Donington, so that sounds like good advice.

Good to meet you at Donington and put some more P/H names to faces.

Someone left a P/H sticker on our car.......
now stuck on the front screen
Yippee...I'm all 'official'!!!!!!!

Likewise - always nice to match a name to a face. Glad the sticker didn't go to waste
