Just wondered how many of you are going to Donington? I might be there on Saturday, definetely on Sunday. Going with my dad, his mate and my mates little brother. Should be a good day, and the weather forecast looks good for sittin on the bank overlooking Craner Curves. Can't wait! First meeting of the season for me

Hope to be there for Sundays events.

Planning to arrive at 08.30 and park next to the TVRCC trailer in the in-field (if I can find it).

I'm going on the Saturday with a couple of mates. Should be good. Seems ages since the last time I went to a race (probably is!). Here's hoping we have some reasonable weather!!!
I can usually be found wandering aimlessly round the paddocks having a nose at what everyone's up to or loitering around chatting to the Eclipse lot.

Hi

I've never been to a GT race but fancy going. If I wanted to go on Saturday how would I go about getting my car (TVR) into the infield parking?

Is there a special provision for tivs or is it 1st come 1st serve?

Thanks

How are you planning to get in the infield then? Is it first come first served or are you a club memeber?

As thats where the TVRCC trailer will be, I would have thought that if your in a TVR (displaying the TVRCC sticker) the marshals would let you into the in-field area. Ill soon find out come Sunday mind???

as far as i know it should be free, just drive round to the infield entrance, pay the man and drive through the Fogarty esses tunnel infield It's not always free but here's hoping! It just saves loads of walking and it's easy to get back to the car if it p*sses down. The only disadvantages are that the car gets covered in dust and it can take a while to get out if it's busy.

The infield at Donington is huge, to access it (and it's free both days) just enter Donington and look for the exhibition centre the entrance to the infield is via tunnel just to the left of the building.

I may try and find it too. I usually park at the Paddock entrance, I suppose I need to go further round towards the museum etc?

If you see someone hanging around the entrance to the infield, waiting for TVR's to come through and bounce V8 burbles off the walls of the tunnel, say hello, it will be me

Absolutely, The best sign of a true racing/car fan.

As the Griff does not currently wear a PH sticker, will there be any on offer come Sunday???

Change of plan! Going to miss it on Sunday as I've got to work at Snetterton now, but might call into Donnington on the way down there on Saturday afternoon
