Anyone remember Gerry Taylor?
Discussion
Hi,
Just a post to see if anyone still remembers my dad Gerry Taylor? He used to be a very good saloon car driver, having many good year at the wheel of the Swish Ford Anglia.
It would be great to hear from anyone who can remember him back in the late 60's through the 70's.
Hope to hear from somone soon.

Lee, try a post on the Nostalgia Forum on the Atlas/Autosport site. Although its emphasis is on F1 , they do have threads about British racing and I'm sure will know about your dad.

Try sending a PM to them......
Hi. I indeed rmember Gerry Taylor. I was at Mallory Park in 1972(?) when he turned over/flipped his Swish Anglia.
The car looked a bit of a mess BUT he and the team remodelled it overnight and he raced the next day at Silverstone.
He said not to touch certain places as the paint was still damp and the filler a bit soft.
Nice/great guy.
Delving into my archives I even found B&W negatives of the actual roll and subsequent parking.
