Help!! I really need some info on F1 downforce.

Hello!

I am currently doing a piece of A-level physics coursework and I chose to do about F1 aerodynamics and, more specifically Downforce. I need to find Data on the effects used on the car and especially the rear wings.

If any of you guys (team bosses/car preparers if poss??)can give me any helpful info (doesn't have to be F1) or point me in the directiion of people/websites who can it would be greatly appricated.

If I don't do well I will fail my A-level, not get into uni, never get a good job and then I won't be able to buy a Noble M12 GTO!!!

Seriously, I was in deep st until now!!!

The report's gotta be done by the 14th of March so, I'm gonna crack on with it.

I chose a subject that I knew I would enjoy, just didn't know it would be so hard to get info for!

Having done A2 physics last year, make sure you put higher priority on a clear structure than the complexity of the work.

I did helicopter blades, rather crude experiments backed up with relatively simple a-level theories on air flow etc. Aced the coursework. Ask your teacher if you've included all the relevant physics in your assignment. Any complex theories etc on top will get you bonus marks, but not unless your basic theory is top notch.

Physics is a good alevel to take. I currently do war studies and its even helped me in my degree!

Btw. i got a high B... 2.5% off an A and thats before they put all the marks in my class up but i wasn't given the extra grade.... so how close was I!!!!
