RE: Cheap Tyres for Marshals
Monday 17th February 2003
Avon Tyres will be rewarding marshals for the time they volunteer to oversee the British GT Championship and British F3s in 2003.
All participating marshals will be able to purchase road tyres for their personal cars, plus those of their immediate families, at a specially discounted price. In addition, at each round of the F3/GT series a Marshals Draw will take place with the winner receiving an AVON voucher entitling the holder to a further 35% discount. All tyres purchased in this way will also be provided with free fitting and balancing at the on-circuit AVON race support centre.
Further BRDC marshal initiatives are planned and will be announced during the course of the season.

Discussion
the best place to start would probably be here
www.barc.net/marshals.htm
that should have all the info you need.

There are many Marshalling clubs in the UK, would also add:
www.marshals.co.uk (BMMC)
There is also the BRSCC, BARC as has been mentioned and the BRDC. What your nearest circuit is can also influence what club you join, and whether you want to do all meetings at one track or follow one of the packages around the country.
Also, there are many different disciplines, amoung them are:
Course/Fire (bank)
Pits/Startline.
If you decide to join, I'm sure you'll enjoy it
