Racing Stateside - advice needed!

HELP!!
I'm an experienced UK racer (mainly Porsches) but am relocating to the US (Stamford, CT) for a couple of years so I'm keen to get some advice on how I can continue racing over there.
A couple of specific topics I'd like to know more about are:
1. Will my MSA int C licence be OK or will I have to get back to school?
2. What to race? I'd prefer arrive & drive so any comments on Barber Dodge Regional, Panoz GT series or similar welcome. Also any suggestions on 'private' rental teams with Porsche etc. for sensible budgets appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Adee
I'm sure you will enjoy racing in the states, they have some great circuits.
Your MSA licence will be fine for major races as long as you have an international 'c' grade, for small club events you will need to talk to the local organisers, such as the SCCA.
I have raced in the states a number of times and have good contacts with a variety of teams so if you are still looking for help contact me via my web site www.nigelgreensall.com
Enjoy your racing
