Just a heads up. Bathurst 12 hours starts in 15 minutes. It’s on YouTube too. The first stint as the sun rises is one of the most spectacular sights in motorsport.

Thx. First time watching the start. Must be hairy in the dark!

It’s incredible to watch. I only wish there was a bit more running in the dark

Always think a 24hr version, start and finish at 5.45am would be awesome. Until then I’ll happily make do with just the 12 smile

Isn't it great listening to a race without some fat fool screaming at us?

I think that’s the fourth car he’s had an incident with isn’t it? In fairness that one looled 50/50, but a pretty bold place to go for an overtake

Lasted about 2 hours and then the reality of this hits, there will be about 5 or 6 cars left at the end, some of the driving from idiots like Habul is a joke.

This race needs a refresh I am afraid, some quality stuff early on, but once the dentists get in, it becomes a bit silly

I’ve been sat here thinking how sparse the field seems. Before Covid there were grids approaching 40 cars. There were some interesting wildcards too. Like the Nürburgring 24hrs the diversity has been reduced which is a shame really.

You can say that again.

Stayed up until 3am. In work today so had it on in the background, I’ve got an hour and 5mins left to watch (vdL just pitted) and the WiFi has gone on the blink frown

Watching the KTM- in the fallout from them going into administration I’ve heard nothing about the car side of the business, presumably that’ll be closed down? Can’t have been making them money

just finished. decent ending.

i do like these events as background tv. what's the name of the geordie commentator? i feel i should know this given he is THE voice for gt racing. i do enjoy the mix of commentary, story telling and general banter. even commentary mistakes are handled well.

Isn't it John Hindhaugh of Radio LeMans fame?
