Well it's that time of year & the Great Race is upon us.

So my prediction for the race is 1st SVG 2nd CW 3rd Kosteki, for those that don't have Superview here are some highlights.

Looks like it's going to be more than a tad moist for the top 10 shootout and for the race on Sunday. 30 years after Jim Richards greatest Bathurst podium speech ever will this years race in the wet finish with as much controversy in Holden's final ever Bathurst?

https://youtube.com/c/SupercarsChampionship

Join their YouTube channel and it's live on there (Scroll down on the join page for the 2022 SuperView), costs £6 a month but would think you can just cancel once it's done.

I'm about to get a few hours kip in preparation for the annual all-nighter for this. My prediction is for a start behind the safety car if the weather doesn't improve! Gutted that the top 10 was cancelled and harsh on SVG who was on for the fastest lap before he was blocked by Macca.

I wouldn't call it a block, they were both on laps, I feel he should've backed out of it.

Carrera Cup started under SC. They were all running slicks apparently. Tracks is damp and the exit from turn one looks nasty - lots of mud and standing water.

Couple of offs at the chase and one got stuck so they red flagged it after 4 laps.

No rain forecast by the look of it but I have a feeling there will be a lot of interruptions.

Actually looks pretty dry on the grid cool As you say, going off track and getting back on might be the greatest challenge like at Sandown

My prediction is a #17 win, even though I'm an SVG & Chaz Mostert fan

I think it was Dipasquale that was driving (commentators were confused, D’Alberto is in now) but yes that should have been a penalty.

Somehow they are now first despite 2 stops - not sure how they managed that.

Shell #100 Because they pitted under the lap 1 safety car and then stayed out for the second SC when everyone else pitted. He passed the wrecked #26 car and then floored it before the R&J car and tried to overtake the Team 18 car presumably before seeing a green

Shell #17 out of contention after Davison's rallycrossing. Let's see what Shane can do now.
Waters looking the strongest atm

Well that worked well for SVG - got the penalty out the way and have managed to keep the lead.

Commentators completely missing that Fullwood whacked Everingham in the rear corner at the Cutting prior to his off over the top rolleyes

Well that pass SVG made on Mostert when he was trying to pass BK was the key to the final result.
