Anymore classic F1 meetings this year?
Discussion
I recently took my nephew to the Masters Historic meeting at Brands, and he was blown away by the DFVs. He had goosebumps all up his arms, it was his first experience of an an F1 engine of any kind and he’s hooked.
He wants another hit, which is good, but apart from the FoS and the Grand Prix, is there anything else this year with F1 engines being put through their paces?
I’ve looked everywhere I can think of, but my eyes roll into the back of my head after a while lol. We are in Suffolk, so midlands is about as far as we’ll go.
Or maybe we’re looking at next year’s Masters and Goodwood FoS or Members.
Cheers!

I've not been to Oulton Park since, I think, an RAC Rally stage was there over 30 years ago, but its just too far. Again, thanks for the suggestion.
It’s not quite the same but any round of the British Hillclimb Championship will feature at least half a dozen barely silenced V8s, some supercharged bike engines and all sorts in between…
Alternatives also include the Historic F2 series which aren’t quite DFVs but BDAs make a great noise too…..

I followed the hillclimb championship in 1987/8/9. Loved it, incredible cars, and some great characters. But… all the hills are a long way from the east coast of Suffolk, and just not possible for us CV due to personal circumstances.
