BTCC at Brands for a first timer
Discussion
I'm taking my 9 year old to Brands on the 15th for the BTCC, This will be the first time either of us will have been to either Brands or a BTCC meet. After reading the other threads I intend on taking a couple of changes of warm clothes and I have some ear defenders for him but I don't think i'll need them. He has a blue badge but i'm unsure which of the 2 car parks would be best to aim for the main one near Paddock hill or Southbank? bearing in mind we may need to go back to the car to change clothes etc. What sort of access does GA get you? Any tips on anything we should aim to see especially? Any tips would be appreciated.
We're not complete novices to the series, I usually keep up with it and he's nuts about anything to do with racing

The disabled parking on South bank is a great spot in general, as if the weather is rubbish you can still sit in the car and get a decent view of the racing. Beware if you're wandering around the circuit - it's pretty hilly (ok if you're in a wheelchair!) but an attendant will get a good workout if not a powered chair

That's brilliant thanks, luckily he doesn't need a wheelchair but if it rains and he gets wet clothes get removed regardless of where he is so being able to watch some action from the car is a huge bonusGassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
