Just watched P1 & P2 and was somewhat surprised to see they aren`t the new Gen3 cars. After the big reveal at Bathurst last year I kinda expected them to be the cars they were going to be using but apparently it`s not until 2023.

It`s wet there which always makes things interesting. I`d expect SVG to be the man to beat again, he was the standout driver in 2021. Brock Feeney has a heck or a job to do, seeing how he gets on should be worth watching. The Shell drivers are always quick and then you get Tim Slade occasionally putting in some stellar laps, he just needs a bit of luck and consistency.

Overall I`m just looking forward to the season getting underway again.smile

I subscribe to their YouTube channel. it shows the full days coverage live, but you can also view it afterwards skipping the bits you don`t want.

It`s gone up a quid this year from £4.99/m to £5.99/m but I cancelled it after the last race of 2021 and retarted it last night.

The Supercars Superview page is also an option, it's a one off payment so a bit cheaper but I might give the youtube option a go instead this year. I didn't watch most of thr second half of last year do didn't really feel like I got any value from superview. This year has a real stop gap feeling with the Gen3 cars being put back to 23

Forgot about Superview.

I used to have that, but you can only watch the broadcast live from the start or wait until it`s finished to fast forward manually. I found myself frustrated as I was wanting to skip the Super2 etc but not being able to if the broadcast was still ongoing.

Definitely a `stop gap` year. Should still be decent racing though.

I'm hoping so, with a lack of development for any of the cars, and a few of them already being sold before the season started so maybe drivers under order to keep out of trouble I can see SVG walking it again, that said De Pasquale and Will Davison should both be faster this year now they've had a season in the DJR Mustang

Enjoyed a bit of Race 1 (started at a civilised time for the UK..). Youtube highlights of Race 2 weren't quite long enough, looked a lively race. Shame that BT Sport don't seem to have an on-demand option for Supercars.

Personal op only, but I cannot see SVG ‘walking’ it this year.WAU have fairly fast cars now.DJR are on their game.It is more open.Even Kostecki is very competitive with the Erebus car.Time that T8 got walloped.

Just caught up on the Darwin rounds via Superview. Great stuff by Chaz to hold on in the last race

I'm always amazed and a bit disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm for Aussie Supercars on here, given the pages and pages devoted to BTCC and F1. It's one of the best categories out there and the coverage is top notch

Just watched the 2 Townsville races.

You have to admire Van Gisbergens racing brain. By not letting Anton redress he knew he`d get a penalty and possibly drop him into 3rd. To think of that, whilst on the run to the line is fantastic imo.

I agree and yet everyone went mental on social media saying how he was unsportsmanlike and shouldn’t have got the win.

What a great season.

SVG was in a class of his own, but pleased to see Feeney get his first win

Was laughing at Shane's celebration after the last race biggrin

This last round saw a heck of a lot of incidents, but it's like the BTCC on the last weekend of the season.

Gen 3 cars next year, hopefully they'll be as difficult to drive as the early feedback suggests.

Last race of the year was great.. burnouts even better! Meant to be a significant downforce reduction next year, that’ll make it interesting.

RIP Holden.
