Hi all,

Who will be watching again this year? Was a good race last year, will be interesting to see how the new regs effect the running order.

Also where will you be watching? Are IMSA streaming it via youtube as normal? Or will it be on IMSA TV?

Mike

It’ll be on IMSA to, not sure about YouTube, looking forward to the MX5 races too, normally the most entertaining part of an IMSA meeting

I will be watching it. Love the IMSA races MX5's always comes up with very close racing. Hopefully the MX5's are as close as Sebring was.

Just read a quick motorsport magazine article on it. I’ve never shown any interest in it before, but apparently you can get into the garages. There can’t be another motorsport event of its stature where you can do that, so now it’s definitely on my list of events to attend.

I went 4 years ago. (tacked onto the end of a work trip)

You can't get into the garages, but you'll be within 6 ft of the door separated by a popup fabric barrier. So yes very close to the cars. If you hang about when they are going for scrutineering, there's nothing between you and the cars (except the crew).

I had a really good time, I put access etc on a par with Spa 24. But Spa just a bit more iconic track.

Scrutineering

As close to garage access during the race

You can get on track before the start.

Has anyone got a link to stream the race live, we struggled to watch it last year from memory, think IMSA TV didn’t work for us, is it live streamed on YouTube?

Not sure it is on YT, I think you might be able to catch it if you can stream it from the US, or maybe on a very small screen on RLM site, they do it too I think.

IMSA tv doesn't seem to work too well in UIK now, probably blocked But if anyone find a place, f you can, link it or let us know!!

I went to the race in 2009 & 2010 and yes you do get amazing access to the paddock and garages. It's the same in the whole IMSA sportscar series in the USA.

I was lucky that I knew a few people (including one who worked for Daytona) so was given full pit access too. Still remember being in the pitlane in the middle of the night watching the pitstops!
