Morning all,
It's my first season of racing next year and we have to run VBox video boxes. Could those familiar with these assist please?
1. There doesn't appear to be an in-car screen with these, what do I need to have an in-car screen showing lap times, deltas etc?
2. I need to buy a lap top to run with this as I can't use my company laptop for data protection reasons. As it's just for this, what's the cheapest/most basic laptop I can realistically get away with please?
Many thanks,

1. Yes, the Vbox lite and upwards can be used with Racelogic OLED display which is available in bundles with the kit and separately as an accessory. It's my first season of racing next year and we have to run VBox video boxes. Could those familiar with these assist please?

2. I am not great with computers but the Vbox is very undemanding and unless you are really getting into video editing pretty much any machine will do it. That said, when I bought a laptop for this purpose I chose to buy one with a SSD for robustness in case it gets knocked about, and with an SD card slot for convenience. My laptop is several years old now and has an i5 processor and 8gb of RAM and I reckon it still far exceeds what is required for running Vbox only.
ETA: Wow so it looks like every laptop has an SSD these days- and correctly so. I would add that 128gb may prove a bit limiting for storage, so buy a laptop with 256gb+ or do as I do and use external drives to expand your storage.

Might be worth getting a second opinion on the computer bit. I'm sure Racelogic could tell you the minimum system requirements and what operating systems it'll work on.
It did occur to me that I have a Vbox lite which has low res cameras, keeping the file sizes small, but the fancier Vbox HD will spit out bigger files.
