Silverstone classic

They are E-tickets, from the Silverstone website . Mine are there , but I can't yet download. My infield car club pass arrived last week.
Wonderful event, if a rubbish circuit for spectating . Keep on the move and spend mornings in and around the old pits and the afternoons by the Wing . Access all areas will be a shock to anyone used to stuff like BTCC and British GT. Not many thing i n life feel better than standing 6 feet away from a DFV engined F1 car or a Lola T70 as they are fired up .

Where can you “see” them on the website?Wonderful event, if a rubbish circuit for spectating . Keep on the move and spend mornings in and around the old pits and the afternoons by the Wing . I didn't either ! But, for reasons I am not privy to , the whole Classic thing was migrated from See tickets, who ran it for years, to in house Silverstone . I struggled to access my bookings at first but while the 'contact us' email I sent didn't get a reply, a phone call worked.
Very helpful and courteous. Only eight more sleeps till I set off ....

They took it in-house to save money, rather than paying a 3rd party booking agent service. Every hotel etc. would do that if they could, to save paying Booking.com etc.
Silverstone have made redundancies, there have been cost caps etc. to help them survive. It's only right that they don't waste money on 3rd party agents if they can do it in house.
(And then spent the money on a pointless new logo, that no one has probably even noticed!)

And there in lies the point…..There’s no point bringing something as critical as ticketing in-house just to save a few quid if there’s a risk the customer will be dissatisfied.Silverstone have made redundancies, there have been cost caps etc. to help them survive. Booking.com is where you search for hotels as well as book and pay so not being on it means you’re reliant on other advertising, it’s not just a payment facility. That would be like saying there is a website, with booking and payment facilities, for a number of different historic racing events next weekend i could choose to attend
Anyway, I’ve found entry lists on line and a detailed timetable so I am very happy and will have a lovely time.

Not all the races sadly but most of them. The Masters (Endurance Legends , Sportscars and F1) series and HSCC races (Formula Junior, Historic F2, Thundersports) may be available from their respective websites closer to the date

To be fair, I have no issue with Silverstone, I’m just a technical idiot and would rather tickets sent in the post!
