RC Drift Car - Getting Started and help would be appreciated
Discussion
Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and I am looking so help regarding getting into RC drift cars. I apologise if this is the entirely wrong place for this topic but I couldn't find a more relevant area.
I am in Northern Ireland and I am looking to build my own drift car. I don't wish to purchase a RTR as I think it takes the fun away from creating your own.
I am looking at a MST FXX 2.0 or Yokomo YD2S as a chassis both of which are RWD.
In Northern Ireland there is not any indoor tracks that I am aware of so it will just be me on the tarmac/carpet of my own Area. I don't know wether drifting on Tarmac/Ashphalt creates a problem with these? I'm still hoping it works all the same.
If anyone has any help or tips they can give a beginner I would much appreciate it!
Thanks
