Managed about 10 minutes, but then the fact you are watching talentless billionaires parading their money around an empty track lost me sorry.
I loved the last one, real wheel squeeling fighting for grip. Most definitely not billionaire drivers. Bog enthusiastic owners wanting to see the cars being USED!paulguitar said:

I will submit the later years had some great drivers, but the early stuff, my word it was like watching Goodwood up the hill, very dull and really better with drivers who know what they are dong.
Arnoux, lol he binned it, hardly great.
You clearly have no idea who some ofthese ‘talentless billionaires’ are...Arnoux, lol he binned it, hardly great.
...I’d like to see you jump into a 1930s Fraser Nash with all its idiosyncrasies and throw it around Monaco like Blakeley Edwards, or jump into an old hesketh and peddle it like Stretton or Lyons.
These drivers don’t just have to know how to drive, but also know how to massage these one of a kind, hand made pieces, each with their own quirks around a track.
Jump on twitter and ask Alex Brundle how hard it is going up against some of these guys...

It amazes me how small the old F1 cars look around Monaco. There’s actually space for two of them to run side by side in a lot of parts. Unlike the modern F1 cars which are waaaay too big for Monaco
Considering that the track is a bit narrower now as well because of where they place some of the armco.Gassing Station | General Motorsport | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
