Hey all.

Advice gratefully received from anyone who can please help. I've been offered an extra krontec air bottle, regulator and lance setup by someone who I'm buying one from for my 996's air jack system. The price is good and I was thinking about getting a wheel gun for the second bottle and regulator. Is that a smart move or stupid? The wheel nut on the racecar has to be tightened to 420 NM.

Thanks to anyone who has any good advice!

Joseph

Paoli Wheel Gun ands a Reg is a pain, for customer 996's we use https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/040215051/ and a https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/dewalt-dcf899p2-xr... just need someone to jump in the driver seat and press the brakes and hold the steering wheel but you know the wheels are torqued up. have you got safety's for the air jacks?

Thanks for that suggestion. That's pretty interesting. And it looks like enough torque for the Cup nut. I didn't realise that a conventional battery powered gun could work.

As for the safety, I've found an ex-race team used Krontec setup with bottle, jack and regulator. I haven't used the air jacks on the car since I got it so I'm not really sure what's what with the system and operating it. Just trying to figure it out really.
