So, who's getting excited then? biggrin And cards on the table time, who do you want to win and who do you think *will* win the title?

I would like to see Ash or Tom take the title. Ash is amazing to watch and it would be great to see him take the new car to a championship win and Tom as he's the plucky underdog with a lot of talent and a great work ethic.

That's certainly not to take anything away from Colin or Dan though and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it pans out. My guess is Colin will take it.

Best of luck to Wookie too beer

Colin goes well at Brandshatch and his 9 point advantage maybe just enough of a cushion.
Will be very close though as nothing between them.

Looking forward to it!

My money is on Colin but I think it’s going to go down to the last race.

Whatever happens it’s going to be exciting to watch because the track temp will be very low and the last race will be almost in the dark.

God know what they’re going to do if they have to delay the first race for fog!

Ideally Tom would win it. But...realistically it's Colin or Ash to take it. Just depends what mistakes Ash makes to throw it away/what random incidents befall Colin.

I’d like to see Ash win a second title. I think Colin will win again this year though. Don’t want a TD Honda to win regardless of who’s driving.

Cammish seems to go well around Brands, could be on for a pole, as does Ingram. Turks just needs to play it calm though and Ash has nothing to lose, I bet he didn't expect to be in the title fight after signing up with Laser Tools in that Infiniti. Butcher proper outside bet, bit more luck and consistency on his side and he would have been closer. As long as there's no silly buggers Matt Neal punting people off whoever wins it deserves it. Just a shame it all going off in front of no spectators, but we'll all be cheering on from our sofas drink

I'd like Turkington to win but think Sutton may just get it. Having said that the Corolla seems to be going very well over the past few weeks, Ingram should have held back at the last round instead of putting himself in the position that he did with Butcher.

Yep same with ash at croft when he retired in race 2 after contact and started race 3 from the back. He would be a good 10 or more points ahead of turks at this stage. Ingram could have been within side the 30 point margin if had settled for 4th? at Snetterton.

Its also on the indy track which like other tracks doesn't really favour fwd or rwd pretty neutral track. All I hope is we don't see drives through the field with people letting people past without at least some sort of defending.
Im going for a turks title.

I’m betting on Wookie continuing his form and winning all three races. BTCC Champion next season.

That is the very real risk, its pretty much guaranteed that he is going to get dirty like he has done in situations like this in the past to help Camish.

In a way it is a fitting end to his BTCC career, being a dic and bashing other drivers is how he has behaved for most of it.

Its a pity for Camish, TD are a marmite team from a support point of view which is mainly determined by how people view Neal, you are either a die hard blinkered Neal fan or simply dislike him for his driving style. I can see Camish him having a much bigger following next year once Neal is gone.

I would like Tom Ing to win. He's been so close over the years and each time ruled out due to bad luck. After that dont mind if its Turkington / Ash

High probability of Neal once again pushing people off in his attempts to influence the championship result (exclude him from the meeting ?!).

Looking forward to watching whoever wins.

Realistically it will be either Turkington or Sutton. The difference is Sutton can win if he doesn't do something stupid. Turkington can win if something stupid doesn't happen to him (Croft R2 excepted)

Looks like a wet one at the moment. Although this is England, and anything can happen. Might not help the Rwd cars if its slippy but not full on wet, it could be the two outsiders - Cammish and Ingram that are up the front. I can see the top 5 in quali being the top 5 in the championship standings.

Hoping against hope for an Ingram win. I see him as an over performing underdog - small team, single car, gets an awful lot out of it and appears to be a decent, positive guy who doesn't whinge or throw his toys.

He's also exciting to watch, enjoyable to listen to, and someone I can support. Sorry Turkington but playing the percentages is just boring, your interviews are boring; I can see how he's got the championships he has, but if every touring car driver was like him no bugger would watch it!

Think Turks will get it though.

Good work by Rivett to get top 10 in only his second meet , weather is not good and anything could happen tomorrow !

Wookie FTW .

Looks a good qualifying result for Ollie in what appeared to be pretty horrid conditions!

Wow, that’s a great grid to mix things up in the championship! Really looking forward to this.
