A nice dose of big-bore action from a happier time.

Lovely stuff - the combination of an angry small block Chevy V8 and a proper H pattern gearchange is still wonderful, even though somebody will be along to say their friend's Radical is better ...

Try the Jim Pace stuff to, on youtube - he is at the wheel of sundry Can Am McLarens , Shadows and lots more. HD pics , great sound . Check out his Shadow shunt - he's ok but Christ, it was scary

I've seen some Jim Pace stuff, brilliant, he's a lucky man to have access to such machinery and he's a skilled driver.

I am very, very sad to report that poor Jim Pace died last week, at 59, from bloody Covid . I first encountered his videos about ten years ago and they set the standard for in car stuff - laps of wonderful tracks like Road America , Laguna Seca and Le Mans in thumping great brutes of Can Am cars , as well as Daytonas , 911s and E-Types . Great sound , smart in car commentary and lovely smooth driving - a guy who could heel and toe properly !

RIP Jim

OMG what a shame, he seemed like a decent sort too.
