Not sure this is the right place to post but Kubica is still motorsport, right!

Anyway, looks like he's having fun, giving that car a pretty decent run out!

A run out?!? Christ that looked quick, not surprising I suppose. The first comment from Robert at Apex made me laugh "if anybody wants to rent the M4 can you give us a couple of days to rebuild it" laugh

ETA i'd be tempted to stick it on the YouTube thread if I was you.

It did look quick! I’d be too busy remembering ibis rally accident if I had been in the passenger seat!

Didn’t look that different from thousands of other Nurburgring lap videos I have seen. Clearly, he can drive well, but so can lots of people.

Crikey he is really ringing that things neck, so fast and accurate. He’s barely holding the wheel either, proper driver

Well, they’re all on here today!

Clearly none of these ‘lots of other people’ were out on the day Kubica was.

Fantastic clip that really gives a good sensation of the speeds involved and what a fantastic driver Robert is Awesome.

Seems he drove it quite a bit harder than anyone else normally does.

Exactly.

I have like most people, seen all sorts of Ring videos and few of them transmit a feel for the real thing. Lots of great expertise but hard to feel the roughness and elevation changes.

This is a great vid..and shows what a great driver can do. I have lots of laps there and it is humbling to see a driver like Kubica just whacking past fast machinery like it is standing still.

That article is a 50/50 mix of embarrassment and ignorance.

It's hardly breaking news, that stuff wears out on a car that spends a whole day pounding round a track with a pro driver at the wheel!

Did they expect the brakes to last 30,000 miles?
