As we look forward to this weekend's racing, just a reminder that it's being broadcast of ITV2 again (and not ITV4).

TOC is back with team hard also bushell is back with pmr. Rumours are the 2nd car will be out too.
Think we might see a closing at the top between rwd and fwd but colin and ash are looking stand out this year.

Who's TOC ?
Typing his name would have been easier.

As above Onslow-Cole. Appears that he's filling Ollie Brown's seat for the next 3 rounds.

Always makes me chuckle how far behind the news the posts on here are.

The news I watch doesn't usually include BTCC driver musical seats.
I couldn't remember "TOC"'s name , except the Tom bit.
Thanks for that.
I last saw him racing a Mercedes in Blancpain GT .

Bushell is out with ligament damage so it’s Jade Edwards in his car and Rob Austin is going to be out in the second Astra.

PMR are becoming a bit like the "guest driver" car in some series.

I presume they are just mopping up drivers with a bit of sponsorship to cover costs for a round or two and keep things ticking over in the team.

Rob Austin this week, Jade Edwards possibly in some Silverstone. The reason they are taking in drivers is because they have to to keep there entry for next season.

I imagine Gow wasn’t that happy about them pulling out completely this season. Or at least this is my understanding

PR machine on overdrive I see, always found the Rob Austin fan club a strange crowd, always gave them a wide berth at the races.

"fan Favourite Rob Austin"

"will now be piloted by BTCC-legend, Rob Austin".

Try asking them on social media if they still think they own part of his now none existent team after giving them cash to keep it running a while back. That really brings out the weirds

I'm amazed another driver swap hasn't been announced, seems to be one every day at the moment. It's become a bit of a rent a drive championship this year sadly.

Paul O'Neal overhead Christine talking about shagging her PT at breakfast. Christine is unsure how to tell John. Who apparently has a tiny todger.

Anyone here called John? Married to Christine?

Despite happening well over 20 years ago, my first thought when the BTCC rocks up at Thruxton is Charlie Cox's insane off which pretty much ended his involvement in the series. Some bad ones near the same spot in recent years too. On a more upbeat note, just glad we have a championship to watch this year, anyone else glad the tyre swap rule is absent this year?

No, it stopped one driver dominating all three races. I think there would be more people in the fight if it was there this season. BTCC is about entertainment not pure racing.

I'm on the right channel this week. laugh

With the tv channel change at Knockhill I ended up on ITV2+1 without realising. I should have when I wasn't seeing what other people were commenting on. laugh

Yes brings far more stability in the races rather than watch a few cars slowly drop down the field and a couple charge through just because of tyres. Its a sprint race there is no need for 2 tyre compounds throughout the meeting.
