I moved to Germany recently from the US and would like to attend my first rally event. I'm hoping it'll be open for spectators this year. It sounds like they're still negotiating with health authorities. Anyway, I'm curious about the best way to experience it. Should I buy tickets for official spectator areas? Or is it better to just set up along the stages? Where do you stay overnight? Are there good campgrounds? Any other hints?

Not sure you will be able attend! This year the whole event is rumoured to be happening in the Baumholder military camp over a couple days, where they can control access.

If you have to wait until next year to see a rally ,check out Eifel rallye festival ,usually takes place in July .

It's not competitive but most drivers are demonstrating the cars to the full and also old school drivers ,including former world champions get

invited along to drive cars they drove in the 80s or 90s .

Best rally for seeing group B cars and similar ,held a few miles from the Nurburgring , based in a town called Daun .
