Tv only or Spectating at track side allowed when it resumes?

If you can go I think we should to show support.

Btcc hasn't announced yet but did hear about a announcement on it soon. I suspect the first 3 rounds behind closed doors so the august rounds and if when football season starts back up with crowds allowed btcc will do likewise.

MSV announced public access to advanced tickets only, so should include BSB rounds?

Limited numbers and limited seats in grandstands etc?

BTCC def included. Don't know about none MSV rounds.

Access to paddock also off limits, so public only in 'public' areas if that makes sense.

I just bought tickets for Oulton Park BSB, so I hope they'll let people in!

Donington reckon we'll be able to go to the btcc in three weeks as long as you've got pre bought tickets ..

Shame but with the size of the paddock that is required/number of marshells etc along with threat of a "2nd Wave" boiling up at the moment think they might have felt a need to respond by cancelling spectators, annoying its only with a couple of days notice. Don't know if its the same for the British GT at Oulton too?

I went to the Historic F1 at Donnington a couple of weeks ago and was quiet enough that we had plenty of space and don't think I came within 10 meters of anyone, took a packed lunch so didn't need to use any of the catering facilities etc. Was great to get some live motorsport in but even since then the situation seems to have changed again.

It seems to be that the gment have classified BTCC as a top tier sport so they have to follow the procedures for all other sports in that category.

Why they have only decided on this classification in the last couple of days tho is beyond me.

Suspect someone in government got told its on live tv so would look odd if f1 had no crowd but a track 30 miles up the road has 20k people. Im surprised the announcement came this late.

Not sure there is consistency in all this; horse racing at Glorious Goodwood is allowing some spectators on Saturday, there have been some at the Oval this week for 'friendly' county cricket matches. And as usual, the decision has been made late.....

Horse racing is also the preserve of the rich and elite, as it was before lockdown when Cheltenham, went ahead when it clearly should not have.

Surprised Silverstone have not pushed to try actually, it's about money after all as the circuit has not been open for anything else.

The horse racing was a planned trial along with two cricket matches, the world snooker championship and a golf tournament.

In light of the increasing number of cases the Government cancelled the other trials today.

Wookie, if you read this thread, ive just been up to the gate of Donington on my Honda cub so at least one spectator tried to get to you all!
Your only 15 minutes from my place so it seemed like the thing to do, lots of cars and parked outside, guess its the support crew?
