A big loss to the world of rallying. The doyen of english language journalism/ writing on the sport. Hugely respected and knowledgeable. An 'old school' type of journalist, as opposed the modern PR type now seen in the sport. And was also a co-driver in earlier times. His annual was a 'must see' read for all rally fans. Sadly, like the other great annual, Rallycourse - no longer produced.
