some great rally's to watch

while we are all stuck indoors lets have some good old style Rallys to watch.

My favourit era is the 80's mainly group B but have been watching some long lost late 80's rally videos and found some good ones to watch.

Watch a mixture of front wheel drive non turbo, rear wheel drive turbo and 4wd drive turbo fight for the win, with an unlikely winner.

Watch Malcom Wilson somehow drag an 8v Astra GTE 6 speed into the top 4, and a see in car on just how difficult it was to keep a 3 door Cossie on the limit in the forest stages (not a car you'd ever chose for stage rallying). Plus odd balls like the Audi 200 quatro and the Works skoda 1300 rwd

If you like variety in your rallying, then that is a particularly good era.

I have that on VHS and it came with a little pace note booklet so you could try and read along with one of the onboard stages.
